Know When to Let Go!

I was in a meeting today and one of my male acquaintances sat next to me. When he sat down I immediately noticed that he was texting someone. He told me that he wanted the woman he was texting to leave him alone. He said that he told her to “delete his number” because he was no longer interested in her but she continued to text, and so did he. This made me remember one of my golden rules. When a man is interested in having a relationship with me he says how he feels and acts on his feelings and the opposite is true when he does not. Game playing is not one of my strengths. I am not running behind someone who clearly has no interest in me and you should not either. Let it go and keep it movin. Keep your heart and mind clear for someone who is running toward you not away from you.

Live, Life and Love every minute!

State Trooper and Senior Citizen

A Florida senior citizen drove his brand new Corvette convertible out of the dealership.

Taking off down the road, he pushed it to 80 mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little hair he had left.

‘Amazing,’ he thought as he flew down I-95, pushing the pedal even more… Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw the state trooper behind him, blue lights flashing and siren blaring.

He floored it to 100 mph, then 110, then 120. Suddenly he thought, ‘What am I doing? I’m too old for this,’ and pulled over to await the trooper’s arrival.

Pulling in behind him, the trooper walked up to the Corvette, looked at his watch and said, ‘Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a reason for speeding that I’ve never heard before, I’ll let you go.

The old gentleman paused. Then said, ‘Three years ago, my wife ran off with a Florida State Trooper. I thought you were bringing her back.

‘Have a good day, Sir,’ replied the trooper.

Where You At?

Is he or she a smooth talker? Listen less to what people say and pay close attention to what people do. Some people talk a good game but that’s what you are getting, a game. A few months ago, I decided to part ways with someone who was all talk and no action. Words without work is dead weight. People who really believe in what they say show persistence through their actions. So if you are a smooth talker please realize that you are talking to yourself because I am more interested in what you do than what you say.

Do you know a Smooth Talker? If so, share your story with us!
